31 Women Collection

Me and a small team of creatives researched, scripted, filmed, and edited biopics to shed light on the lives of the 31 women featured in Peggy Guggenheim’s art exhibition, as part of the collection’s revival. We also created a framework—based on Emilie Gossiaux’s three-step process—to guide detailed descriptions of artworks for visitors who are blind or partially sighted.

In 1943, Peggy Guggenheim created a first of its kind art exhibition while in exile during WW2. With little recognition, Exhibition By 31 Women was the first documented all-female exhibition in the United States that brought together 31 artists. Some were established while others were names that had not, and have not, yet emerged from obscurity.
